The park is located in the eastern portions of the provinces of Mpumalanga and Limpopo in the northeast of South Africa. The only town in South Africa that borders the Kruger National Park is Phalaborwa, Limpopo. With a total size of 19,485 km2, it is one of the biggest national parks in the world (7,523 sq mi).

14. South Gonarezhou National Park

Southeast Zimbabwe is home to the Gonarezhou National Park. It is located south of Chimanimani near the Mozambique border in a part of Masvingo Province that is rather secluded.
